The school specializes in healthcare, wellness and business programs that are designed to help you become more successful in your desired career field and increase your marketability in today’s workforce.

Mission Statement/Philosophy

The mission of Dawn Career Institute is to cultivate an environment that enables individuals to thrive in the pursuit of fulfilling personal, professional, and academic goals. This is achieved by delivering innovative programs within the allied health, wellness, and business fields that integrate curriculum and technology to position graduates for success in their chosen career fields.

History

Dawn Career Institute was founded in 1976 as Dawn Aeronautics Flight School. From 1976 to 1996, the school was approved and certified by the Federal Aviation Administration. In 1992, the school’s curriculum was expanded to include its first non-aviation program: Health Insurance Claims Examiner. Due to this addition, the institution’s name was changed to Dawn Training Centre to better reflect its expanding curricula.

In October of 2009, the School changed its name again to Dawn Career Institute, a name that even better embraces the variety of curricula available and presents a clearer vision of the School's future direction.

The department advises students on resume writing, introductory letters and personal development before graduation. Dawn makes a conscious effort to match each student’s capabilities and strengths to the most appropriate available positions.
