Staff Spotlight - Wendy Creecy

DCI would like to spotlight our Dental Assistant Program Coordinator and most recent Excellence in Education winner, Dwendolyn (Wendy) Creecy! Wendy has been with Dawn for three years. She attended the National Education Center in Los Angeles and worked as a Dental Assistant for the University of Pennsylvania before coming to Dawn. Wendy has her Associate degree in English from Philadelphia Community College and was accepted into the pre-med and liberal arts program(s) at Temple University! She strongly believes that “you become what you think you are” and encourages her students to live by the same motto every day, both in and out of the classroom. She is most proud of her community active work with at-risk teens and is a certified foster parent. Wendy has two children, Shantell (19) and Damir (16). Shantell is majoring in Journalism at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Damir is ranked 25th in his class at Glasglow High School where he is on the wrestling team! Wendy's passion for teaching is contagious along with her smile and fun loving personality! She sees every student as a flower, so lets continue to watch her garden grow!
