Certified Nurse Assistant

We are currently seeking CNA’s for part-time, casual/per-diem (weekends) positions for day, evening and night shifts.  Under the direct supervision of the LPN/Charge Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant will provide each assigned resident with excellent daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and plan of care, and as may be directed by your supervisor.  As part of an interdependent team of skilled and caring people the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must act in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Charge Nurse and/or Unit Supervisor to ensure that the highest quality of care is maintained at all times.
Requirements:
·         High School Graduate
·         MUST have CNA Certification
·         Six months - 1 year experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred. 
·         Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to the values of compassion, justice and respect for the dignity of all persons.
·         Must have patience, tact, a positive attitude and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
