ONLINE INSTRUCTOR TEAM
Gail Gardner is an Online instructor at Dawn Career Institute and a Licensed Practical Nurse. Gail worked in the hospital setting for 12 years, then changed course and went to the Insurance side of the medical field by working for a cost containment company who processed Workman's Compensation claims. In this position she audited both physician and hospital claims for medical necessity of services, proper ICD-9, CPT coding and applied the contract for proper billing.
For the past 13 years Gail has worked at Dawn Career Institute in many different positions, including Medical Billing Instructor, Medical Billing Program Coordinator and Assistant Director of Education.
Lindsey Fillman Lindsey is an Online instructor at Dawn Career Institute. She has over 18-years of experience in medical administration, billing, coding, and instruction. The professional certifications Lindsey currently holds are: NHA Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist, NCCT Nationally Certified Insurance / Coding Specialist, and she has been a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders for almost 12-years.

Natasha Pratt is the Director of Career Services at Dawn Career Institute. She thoroughly enjoys assisting DCI students and graduates start their new careers. Natasha joined the DCI family in March 2015. She has 10 years of Career Services and 5+ years of Recruiting/Staffing and Human Resource experience. Natasha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources from Peirce College and will be graduating in May 2015 with her Master’s Degree in Management/Healthcare Administration from Wilmington University.

Dominic Medina is the Career Services Coordinator at Dawn Career Institute. He assists all DCI students and graduates in their search for employment in their new careers. Dominic joined the DCI family in February 2015. Prior to joining DCI, he was the Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist at the Delaware Department of Labor assisting America’s returning war veterans with re-entering the workforce.
Dominic has over 20 years experience in all aspects of management. He has held the position of Operations Manager, Branch Manager, and District/Area Manager. He is also a US Army Veteran as well. Dominic can be reached at 302-633-9075, ext 319.
